PEA400 provides 400 mg of palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) per capsule, naturally produced from fractionated non-GMO safflower (Carthamus tinctorius) seed oil. PEA is a fatty-acid-like compound naturally found in foods. The PEA in this formula undergoes a micronization process for improved solubility and absorption. PEA has been shown to be helpful in managing occasional pain and discomfort.*

PEA (N-palmitoylethanolamide) is an endogenous fatty acid amide belonging to the family of biologically active lipids. It is a member of the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) with neuromodulatory activity in the central nervous system. The ECS supports homeostasis, or balance.
